Financial Analyst II

Responsible for analyzing current Programs and Pipeline to develop accurate monthly and annual budgets. Develops Estimate at Completion (EAC) for programs on a recurring monthly basis. Measures deviations from budgets with detailed analysis. Maintains monthly reports to management. Assists in future resource planning.

    • Reviews and analyzes financial data received from ERP system, as well as Contracts, Business Development, Program Management and Finance
    • Generates and analyzes program performance per program on a monthly basis with rolling 12 month forward looking forecast
    • Reviews and analyzes Pipeline to provide a rolling 12 month forward looking budget forecast on a monthly basis
    • Maintains documented records supporting financial forecasts
    • Assists with preparation of budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, and variance analysis
    • Reviews proposals for accuracy
    • Works with program managers and technical staff to develop relevant and new materials as needed to support business development activities
    • Assists Program Management Group in the development of Program After Action Reviews (project close out)
    • Performs other duties as required
    • BA/BS degree relevant to financial analysis
    • 5+ years of financial experience required (8+ years of experience may substitute for degree)
    • Must have advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
    • Experience with ERP Systems required
    • Understanding of EVMS a plus
    • Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, DCAA and TINA regulations and requirements strongly preferred

SALARY: Depends on Experience (DOE)
