Responsible for program backend logistical support. Analyzes program requirements from a logistical perspective and advises program department of logistical requirements. Interacts with military, government agencies, and industrial contractors. Interprets and applies Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures while ensuring critical schedules are met. Handles all shipping and receiving duties. Ensures all marking and packaging requirements are met in compliance with the contract.

    • Analyzes contractual requirements for packaging, labeling/marking, UID, and transportation to determine appropriate actions to remain in compliance with requirements.
    • Performs administration of ICE property and non-classified government property in accordance with regulation and other directives.
    • Coordinates, synchronizes, integrates, and leverages logistics support between ICE and supporting Field Personnel.
    • Assists in coordination of efforts between Depot Repair and Field Service personnel to resolve logistical problems and ensure contractual requirements are met.
    • Assists with onsite surveys, deliveries, integration and operations.
    • Coordinates shipment of products to customers or field representatives as required.
    • Handles all company shipping and receiving.
    • Understands HAZMAT shipping procedures and compliance requirements for air and ground.
    • Ensures proper preparation of import/export documents, commercial invoices, packing lists, declarations, and compliance documents with accuracy and in accordance with Government guidelines.
    • Participates in briefings pertaining to Logistics.
    • Establishes and maintains adherence to internal Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
    • Creates and maintains up to date standard work procedures and training documents for all internal logistics processes.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Requires 6-10 years related experience
    • Requires knowledge of a variety of the Field Logistical Support concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills required.
    • Requires knowledge of the supply regulations and procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulation, and understanding of military supply system; DD1149, DD1345-5 (NOA), GFE Control, UID, MIL-STD packaging and marking
    • Requires effective human relations skills including good listening and the ability to convince others to establish or change precedents.
    • Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
