Electro-Mechanical Engineer III

Responsible for drawing, design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs engineering design evaluations. May develop a range of products. May serve as Lead Engineer on assigned projects. Occasional travel may be required. Ability to obtain Security Clearance is required.

    • Verifies drawing accuracy using knowledge of engineering documentation practices.
    • Uses knowledge of electronics, electrical design, mechanical design engineering, and logic.
    • Demonstrates proficiency in using electronic/mechanical design development programs.
    • Designs, develops, and tests electrical systems, products, and printed circuit boards.
    • Maintains client confidence and company operations by keeping proprietary information confidential.
    • Evaluates client needs, identifies and analyzes client requirements.
    • Collects, analyzes, and studies customer requirements, design information, and/or technical data.
    • Verifies design specifications, design requirements, and performs necessary calculations.
    • Determines data input/output requirements and equipment requirements.
    • Develops and maintains program/project Indentured Bill of Materials data.
    • Researches and recommends product's internal components, materials, parts, and manufacturing methods.
    • Studies, evaluates, and implements recommended system design changes and/or modifications.
    • Assembles first article systems for testing and/or demonstration purposes. /li>
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Bachelor degree in Engineering strongly preferred.
    • 6+ years experience in electromechanical design required.
    • Associates degree or certification and 8+ years electromechanical design experience may substitute Bachelor degree.
    • Experience with military aircraft and vehicles required.
    • Expert level SolidWorks required
    • PDMWorks experience required
    • Ability to obtain Security Clearance may be required.

SALARY: $85,051 - $116,945/YEAR DOE
